PERSONALITY: Dora is care-free type and very different from her twin. While Addy plays Quidditch, Dora sits in the bleachers and cheers her lungs out wearing her rather silly Hufflepuff hat that makes the sound of a badger. In a lot of ways Dora is a mini Luna Lovegood right down to that dreamy look her mother used to get when daydreaming. She can be goofy and silly and most of the time she is but when it comes to a test or exam she’s the first to be studying or telling Addy to get her nose out of the sky’s and into a book. She sometimes stands up to her older sisters mothering since she already has one and doesn’t need another, but a lot of the time she just submits to it.
Dora is shy when it comes to boys that are not related to her. The opposite sex scares the shite out of her and she really doesn’t know why. Maybe it has to do with them often picking on her or the fact that she’s just socially awkward in general. When she does develop a crush on a boy the first person to find out is Addy, and then it normally stops there since she would never act on it.
FAMILY: Her parents are Luna and George Weasley who she adores. She is the twin sister of Addison and the younger sister to Fred. She has a small village of aunts, uncles and cousins.
HISTORY: Luna and George had known each other for years before they actually began dating. Luna was three years George's junior, and in the house of Ravenclaw when he was in the house of Gryffindor. It wasn't until after the war that they actually began to speak to each other on a regular basis. Luna, whom only had her father as family, was spending a lot of time at the Weasley's because she considered them her best friends. George has lost his twin brother and was quite devestated about it. He had closed his shop temporarily because he felt like he couldn't go on, and he hadn't smiled or laughed for almost months until he began to talk with Luna. They leaned on each other, and he realized that she really wasn't as "loony" as everyone though, and he began to fall in love with her.
They got married in 2002 and didn't have their first child until 2004. They kept the appartment above George's shop, but he refused to live in it because that was where him and his brother had lived. They bought a house nearby the Bourough, a small house but good enough for the family they wanted to have. The finally had their first baby, a little boy named after George's late twin brother, Fred. Soon after Fred, Luna gave birth to her twins, the two girls, Nymphadora Xenophilius (after the late Nymphadora Tonks and Luna's father) and Addison Molly (after Luna's late mother and George's mother).
Both girls where balls of energy but it seemed that Dora’s energy was more channeled towards playing with her sister and making noises to make her parents laugh. She was never seen as a bad child or an attention wanting child since she was just content chewing on her blanket or her teddy bear. When she was still and infant she would crawl after her sister or after anything that moved but as she grew she liked to read muggle children’s books or draw.
As the girls grew older and their personalities developed more Dora liked to hang out with her grand-dad Weasley since he would teach her about all things muggle. By this time in his life he knew more then he did when Ron was younger since he spent more time with the Grangers. She was able to watch muggle movie’s like ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘The Little Mermaid’, and ‘Cinderella’. ‘The Wizard of Oz’ prompted her to as a ton of questions about how muggles viewed their kind and both her parents and grandparents told her that only muggles that married into Wizarding families or those who gave birth to Wizards themselves ever learned about this world. She still had a lot of questions to ask but she decided to read and research herself. One of her favorite things that grand-dad Weasley would give her were pixie sticks since they were pure sugar. One would keep her going for hours, which didn’t always sit well with George and Luna.
Dora was always loyal to her family, more so to her parents, Addy and Fred. She got on well with her cousins and often loved hanging out with Lily since she was very much like her sister but Teddy Lupin won her heart over as favorite cousin. He always treated her like an adult and never made any mention to her sometimes weird mannerisms like daydreaming and staring off in space a lot.
Like Addy, Dora was not surprised when they received their letters to Hogwarts but for a brief moment she was rather scared that they might be sorted into separate houses. She didn’t know if she could be apart from her sister that long and it made her rather anxious. When they did arrive and the Sorting Hat sorted them both into Hufflepuff she was relieved, surprised and heartbroken since she did have her heart set on Gryffindor but after a while it made sense why she was here. Unlike Gryffindors she was shy and not very brave and more bookish then most but her sister was not, Addy was everything a Gryffindor was so it never made sense to her.
As the years past Dora did other things that would deem her ‘weird’ or just like her mother. She often followed potions instructions in reverse just to see what would happen and when she was sent to the Headmasters office she would hum ‘I’m off to see the wizard’ which confused most half and pure bloods but it made the muggle born chuckle. Once a month she would get a care package from her grand-dad that would include pixie sticks, snickers and mars bars and a new book by a muggle author. She would often share the pixie sticks and chocolate with her roommates and sister but she would hog her book until she was done with it.
Even though Dora did pull some pranks and do some weird things in class her marks never really suffered and she was almost a model student. She approached her Transfiguration teacher in her fourth year with her desire to become an Animagus and she would not take no for an answer. Once she began her training she informed her sister but was a little embarrassed when she turned into a Chipmunk. Addy told her it was cute but she didn’t think so and the thing that gave her away in that form was instead of white marks she had blond marks.
Her fifth year was all about books for her and studying. She still didn’t know what she really wanted to do but she figured it had something to do with animals since her favorite class was CMC. She was confused since she wanted to work with magical creatures and muggle children but one day sitting in the common room it came to her she would teach muggle children during the school year and then tend to magical creatures during summer break. She threw herself in to her OWLS so she could still take all her favorite classes as NEWTS and only told Addy what she really wanted to when she graduated.
Now in her sixth year she is relaxing a little and trying to complete her transformation as an Animagus and then register as one.
other. Third person roleplaying Dora always had the Transfiguration class room Tuesdays and Thursdays after supper so she could practice without the other students finding out. She relaxed like she was told and focused on the task at hand, slowly she began to shrink and her bones started to rearrange themselves into the bones of a tiny Chipmunk. She hand done this once for Addy so she could see what the fuss was about and why she didn’t particularly like her form. Dora always wanted to be something like a cat or a dog, something that could protect someone but in her little Chipmunk form all she could do was eat nuts and amuse her sister.
Once the transformation was complete she scurried out of her blouse and headed to the window like normal to just reflect. Getting there was the fun part since she had to jump across tables and run up the side of a bookcase before getting to the windowsill to look out on the grounds. It was still light out and kids where walking in groups, probably gossiping about the days events. After a moment of watching what was going on out there she decided to see if she could jump around and hold her form longer today then she did last week.
She started by leaping from the windowsill to the teachers desk, from there she leapt to the bookcase and then ran an obstacle course that she had set up for herself. Before she knew it she was out of breath and slowly transforming back into her human form. She hopped out of the obstacle course in time and stood naked catching her breath. When her heart beat was back to normal she started to pull her panties on when someone opened the door.
“What the-?” A males voice called out seeing her there caught like a deer in the headlights.
“Oh shite.” She panted, not knowing what to do next.
First Person roleplaying: [hexed heavily to Addison Molly Weasely, anyone who tries to break this hex will find a recipe for apple crumble.] Well. I don’t know where to start really. I was in the Transfig class like normal doing my chipmunk thing and when I turned back the door opened and I think it was a Ravenclaw boy who walked in but he got the full view of me and I was fully nude. Fully. He saw everything and I must have flushed scarlet several times before I threw a book at him. I think I over did it a bit because I hit him in the head and I think he fainted. I pulled my clothing on as fast as I could and ran back here as fast as my human legs would allow. It was rather frightening. Do you think he’ll tell people? Do you think this would get around? Goofy Dora was nude in the Transfig class. I know it’s not like me to get upset like this but it’s really an upsetting topic. Hopefully it won’t get around to much or at all. Maybe I hit him so hard that he won’t remember? Wish me luck sis. [/hex]
